This adorable vintage valentine postcard features an illustration of cupid listening at a door that is partially open. He is holding a bow in his right hand and has a quiver of arrows strapped over his shoulder with a blue ribbon tied into bows at both ends. There is a basket of roses and hearts on the floor beside Cupid with a message: To my Valentine beside the basket. Another message on the card is:
I’m listening
for the echo
Of love’s old plea
Divine.
That I have asked
You Sweetheart;
“Please be
My Valentine.”
