I love vintage roosters and chickens! They bring back fond memories of farm living, where I spent the first seven years of my life. As a young child, I didn’t have the responsibilities or heavy workload of a farmer so I only have delightful and magical memories of the farm.
This pair of Langshan fowl is from the November 1879 issue of the American Agriculturist magazine.

Fab, thanks, it’ll look great in a frame in my kitchen!

That sounds perfect Jo! I’ve had a framed rooster image in my kitchen for years and I love it. 🙂

How do you print the pictures? Like on paper tags. I have a booth with primitive items and I would love to have primitive tags to put my prices on.
Thank You
Megan
Hello Sharih,
Wanted to let you know I’ve made some free printable sheets of tags for you… at Julie’s request 🙂 There are 2 printable sheets, and 3 sizes of tags, all featuring the image above, as well as a few other images. Hope you like them!!

Love the chickens. We have way too many of the birds, so the pigs get the extra eggs. I say we are just starting the bacon and eggs process early. 🙂
