A popular series of Dolly Dingle paper dolls, by Grace Drayton, was a regular feature in the Pictorial Review magazine in the early 1900s. This page, from the January 1922 issue of the Pictorial Review magazine is titled Dolly Dingle and Sammy Go Skating. Included on the page are the Dolly Dingle and Sammy paper dolls with two outfits each, including their outdoor skating outfits with matching hats. Also included on the page are two toys. One is named Old Mr. Punch. The other is named Cuddle Bunny.
The original page I scanned from the January 1922 issue of the Pictorial Review magazine measures approximately 11” x 16”. I have shrunk the page down to fit on a printable 8.5” x 11” page.
I have also separated the paper dolls from the original, large, scanned page to create these printable digital collage sheets of the full-size paper dolls and their outfits.

Just adorable paper dolls. It took me a minute to realize that Sammy is a boy. 🙂

Hi Sharon. I’m happy to know you like these paper dolls. It’s funny, but understandable, that it took you a minute to realize Sammy is a boy. 🙂 I was surprised when (a few years ago now) I learned that they often dressed young boys in dresses or frilly shirts in the Victorian era.
