This cute postcard was signed by GG (Grace) Wiederseim. Grace was married to Theodore Wiederseim at the time. Grace divorced Theodore and married W. Drayton in 1911, at which time she began signing her work Grace Drayton. Grace and Drayton divorced in 1923 but Grace continued signing her work Grace or G.G. Drayton. Happy 4th of July to my neighbours south of the border! I don’t have any vintage Independence Day postcards but I chose to post this one today because of the American theme. This “Tuck’s Post Card” was published in 1909, in honour of the Hudson-Fulton celebration that took place along the Hudson River. The back:
