This vintage book cover features a lovely illustration of two young girls, dressed in matching pale green dresses, in the woods. The older girl has pulled down a branch of berries for the younger girl to pick from. There is a grouping of pretty, colorful leaves in the foreground.
I scanned the original image from a book in my collection, titled Our Darlings: The Children’s Treasury of Pictures and Stories, by John F. Shaw and Co., London, circa 1900.
