This two-page printable antique French letter, dated November 23, 1837, is shabby and grungy with age.
The letter was written from a woman to her sister. She thanks her sister for the letter and gift, tells her that she has been sick in bed for three days, manages to do some housework but cannot knit due to pain in left hand. Not much else to tell her but to take care of herself and daughter and hugs to all her family. Many thanks to Jeannine @jninescraps on Instagram for translating this antique French letter for me.
The letter was folded with the name of the recipient written on the outer side. Here is that page.
