Here is a vintage clip art illustration of five beautiful red and yellow birds perched on a leafy tree branch. The birds are: summer tanagers and hepatic tanagers. The illustration is by Louis Aggasiz Fuertes.Â

I scanned the original image from the March – April 1918 issue of a magazine titled Bird-Lore.
New in my Etsy shop this week is a printable ephemera kit filled with charming vintage butterfly and bug illustrations.

Image is linked to my shop.

Beautiful tanagers. We have Western Tanagers here and they are very bright. I hope your Etsy shop is doing well!

Isn’t that lovely! Hope you are keeping well, Julie.
Hi Julie!
It’s great to “see” you! 🙂 I am keeping well, thank you. I always remember the wonderful “Best Day Ever” wooden plaque you made for Austin. He’s already 5 1/2 years post transplant and is doing very well. He turned 13 last October.
I hope you are well also. 🙂

Was it that long ago! So glad to hear Austin is doing well. All is okay here in PEI, I have my own shop in a small town.
Yes, time certainly flies by. It’s great to hear that you have your own shop! I’ve lived in a city for many years but I love small town living. You’re fortunate to have the opportunity.
