This vintage Christmas postcard features an illustration of a cute family of soft, furry dogs on Christmas Day. Mama is preparing dinner. She has just taken the hot turkey out of the oven while a pot of food is cooking on the wood cookstove in the background. Her two young puppies are happily playing with their toys in the kitchen while Mama prepares the meal.
The message on the card is: Merry Christmas.

That is adorable! Think they are puppies instead of bears, though. Hard to fool a country girl about that one. 🙂
You’re right, Sharon! I was thinking teddy bears but now that you mention it, I can see that they are puppies and I’ve changed the wording in my description.
So very cute! I also think it is Mama Dog and her puppies.
The little toy bear on the ground has short ears, but they have long ears.
The toy blocks say “Kitty” so I think the blocks are meant as a toy for a puppy.
