This adorable vintage postcard features a sweet Victorian girl doing some Christmas baking. She is wearing a red and white dress, a white scarf tied over her hair and a much-too-large blue and white gingham apron that probably belongs to her mother. The girl is using a wooden spoon to stir ingredients in a large wooden bowl. A cookbook pinned open to a recipe for Plum Pudding is on the counter behind the girl. The message on the card is: Best Christmas Wishes. The card is unsigned but I believe the illustrator was Ellen Clapsaddle.

What a cutie! Thank you
You’re welcome Kathy, Manu and Angela. This is a new addition to my collection and one of my new favorites as well. I’m happy to know that you all like it! 🙂
Is it possible to buy the digital version of the vintage collection images from you?
Hi Isabella,
I don’t have a digital version of the vintage collection of images for sale at this time. Perhaps in the future it is something I will consider doing. Thank you.
