Here are two shabby, grungy, aged and stained texture papers. They are endpapers from Hooker’s Illustrated Natural History by Worthington Hooker, M.D. The book was published in 1864.

I am drooling over these Hunny! Hm, what can I use them for first…lol!!! Thank you so much, you are my hero for keeping up the posting even with one hand “tied”… :-O But take care of yourself now, we will all be here even if you miss a day or two 😉 xoxoxo

You’re welcome Angela, Gunnvor and Linda. I’m happy to know that you like these!
Thank you, Gunnvor. My arm is out of the sling now (hooray!) and I’ve started physio (not hooray 🙂 but necessary – and it’s progress). The pain is more intense now that I’m exercising my stiff muscles but my doctor has prescribed pain medication and that helps me get through it. I look forward to seeing how you use these papers!

Hello Dear 🙂 Please be careful so your arm will quickly be well again! I know how frustrating it can be for an artist to be bereaved of the tools we use t-h-e most, our hands…lol!
I used the shabby papers (and a few more of your lovely goodies) here: https://wingsofwhimsy.wordpress.com/2015/01/22/belle-epoque-photographer-petrine-wiik/ Thank you so, so much!!!

Beautiful work Gunnvor – thank you for sharing! 🙂
Thank you for the well wishes. I am being extra careful, especially when it’s icy on the sidewalks and streets.
