Here is a vintage engraving of a basket of fruit. The fruits included in the basket are: oranges, pears, grapes and strawberries and they are laid upon leaves. The basket is cut in a honeycomb and the handle corrugated. The illustration is from Cassell’s Household Guide Volume 3, circa 1869.
