Hmm… I thought I had already commented on this graphic.
Anyway, I noted that I wasn’t sure if I liked the antique embroidery scissors with the molded birds below the handles. Sometimes I think they’re adorable; and sometimes I think they’re a bit “creepy”! I did download this one, though, just in case I ever make up my mind that I do like them!
Thank you, Julie.; ) xoxo

You’re welcome Pat.

I actually have a pair of working scissors that have a design that’s almost identical to this pair’s design (and they’re probably a replica because they’re definitely not antique—just about 15 years old, haha!). How amazing is that! 🙂
Julie J
That is very amazing Liv! I had no idea they still (or as recently as 15 years ago) made scissors like this!

I have a gold pair with silver ‘beak’ and love them. I bought them at Walmart several years ago and used them for embroidery. They are still sharp and now they are used to cut tiny pics. What a surprise to see it show up here!

I bet they’re pretty in gold with a silver beak!
Fran
I loved this so much, I now have it tattooed on my arm…

That’s amazing Fran! I never would have thought of this being used as a tattoo but I bet it looks cool.

These are actually Adelaide’s scissors from Over The Garden Wall, a Cartoon Network beautiful mini-series and a favourite of mine.. you can also see them in the trailer on YouTube. Besides this was posted on my birthday – what a lovely coincidence! Is there a place where you can buy them?
