This book page features two beautiful antique calligraphy alphabets: Engrossing and Court Hand.
Here is a black and white clip art version of the antique calligraphy alphabets. I have spread the letters across the page to fill an 8.5” x 11” paper size.
Click HERE to save the full-size PDF file to your computer. I have prepared a PNG version (with transparent background) of the black and white full paper size for you as well. Click HERE to save it to your computer.
I scanned the original book page from The Signists Modern Book of Alphabets, Plain Ornamental Ancient and Mediaeval by F. Delamotte. The book was published in 1906.
New in my Etsy shop this week is a printable ATC size (2.5” x 3.5”) set of shabby and aged antique alphabet cards.
Also new in my shop this week is a printable coffee dyed paper pack. A selection of vintage magazine advertisements are digitally stamped on the left and on the right of each page. Ink saver printable pages with the images on a white background are included in the listing.
Preview images are linked to my shop.

Idea or you or suggestion for me?
Hi Julie,
You often do you your work on “printable coffee dyed paper.” Is this a paper that can be purchased? I do lots of historical storytelling and this might be useful for me. The closest I’ve come to it is “Ivory Parchment Letterhead” from Gartner Studios. That paper is compatible with most printers and I can buy it at my local Office Depot. I’ve used it for things like certificates. It’s $!0 for a pack of 100.
I’ve absolutely no idea if what you use would be an improvement or not, but I always enjoy your email offerings and thought I’d ask.

Hi Lois,
If coffee dyed paper is mass produced, I am unaware of it. Everyone I know (myself included) and “follow” in the junk journal/scrapbooking community, coffee or tea dyes, or stains, their own paper. I start with scans of my own coffee dyed paper for my printable paper packs; however, I also include the black and white versions in order for others to print on their own coffee dyed paper – or other paper of their choosing, When you print an image with a stark white background, you can print on any type of paper because the white acts as though it were transparent.
There are plenty of YouTube videos that show how to coffee and/or tea dye paper.
There are also some Etsy sellers who sell coffee and/or tea dyed paper that they’ve dyed or stained themselves.
I hope this helps.

just make coffee, take a thick cloth, dip it in the coffee, and just dye your paper with it.
One can also try citron juice (lemon) and die the paper with that.
Yet another way, could be to make a die solution with water paint, and let the paper sit in it.
After drying, it will feel rather stiff, which is quite nice.
Another way, is to burn your paper over a candle,
Do make sure though, you do not set the paper afire.

Greetings:
i was wondering, do you happen to have this Delamotte 864w (Engrossing and Court Hand as a font, please?
Or know where I could find it?
Thank you very much:
