This vintage valentine postcard features an illustration of a young lady standing at an open window that is framed with beautiful light and dark pink flowers. She is looking toward a blue bird that is swooping in to deliver to her a large red valentine heart on a string. The lady is holding up, toward the bird, a note attached to a single pink flower. Perhaps the lady will take the heart from the bird and have him deliver the note and flower to her valentine.
The printable vintage postcard below features an illustration of a lovely brown-haired young girl. She is wearing a pink dress with lace edging and a red hat. The girl is holding a large bouquet of deep red carnations. While this is not specifically a vintage valentine (and is versatile enough to use in projects throughout the year) I think it might also work well for some valentine projects.
Set #7 in my series of vintage variety ephemera packs is now available in my Etsy shop. The set includes a selection of vintage ephemera pieces from the late 1800s and early 1900s, scanned from my personal collection. Printable digital collage sheet pages and individual images are all included.
I have also added a printable coffee dyed set of eight vintage floral encyclopedia clippings to my shop this week.
