Featured on the cover of this well-worn vintage Preserve Jar Labels booklet is a woman in a plaid dress and red apron holding up a jar of canned peaches. There are more jars of canned vegetables, fruit and jellies on a high shelf behind the woman and a few more jars of canned foods on a table in front of her. The price of 5 Cents and text that reads “All gummed and perforated” is included on the right hand side of the booklet cover. An illustration of an open booklet of canning labels is also pictured on the table in front of the woman.

Thank you for an especially delightful image going into the fall season. I saved this image for a t-shirt iron on, maybe. I wonder what others might use it for?

I’m glad you like this one Loretta, Deborah and Sharon.
Sharon, it’s always interesting to know how the images are used. I like your idea to put it on a t-shirt. I think it would be a fun image to use in a junk journal or for scrapbooking. It could also be made into a card or a tag to be given with a gift of food.
