Here is a pink rose vintage postcard. The card features an illustration of a country scene that is framed with sprigs of light and dark pink roses. There is a white floral design on a light green triangular base in the upper left and bottom right corners. The message “Hearty Greetings” is written in the bottom left-hand corner. The background of the postcard is off white, shabby with age.
Here is the back of the pink rose vintage postcard, that has yellowed with age. The card was postmarked in Worcester, Mass. at 1-AM on December 31, 1910. The stamp to mail it cost one cent. The postcard was sent to Miss Hattie S. Allen in care of F. A. Cook, of Vernon, Vermont. The message, handwritten in pencil reads, “Dear Cousin, Wish you a happy New Year. It has been pretty warm here for the last few days but is colder tonight. I cannot think of much news tonight. I have been cleaning up today and am pretty tired. With love, Lydia”.

I am from Vermont. So this is interesting for me. I found many postcards from this time period when I cleaned out my mons house. So fun!
Thanks for sharing.
