The following catalog page features a variety of antique golf goods, including: golf bags, golf clubs, golf balls, and white golf ball enamel. The golf bags ranged in price from 85 cents to $6.95. The golf clubs cost between $1.95 and $2.20. Golf balls ranged in price between 35 cents to 74 cents each or $3.32 to $5.25 for a half dozen. A golfers’ outfit, consisting of five first quality clubs – driver, brassie, mid iron, mashie and putter; a 6-inch extra heavy white canvas bag with hood, brown leather trim; a floating and a sinking ball, was available for $15.00. The white golf ball enamel was 20 cents for a 4 ounce bottle. Official golf rules and records were also available for 10 cents.
Also included on the page is a croquet pool set, an amateur croquet set and an expert croquet set.
Here is a black and white clip art version of the golfer’s outfit that is shown in full on the page.
I scanned the original page of antique golf goods from the 1918 Sears, Roebuck & Co. catalog.
New in my Etsy shop this week is a printable set of antique book themed vintage style polaroid photos;
A printable set of notepapers, in horizontal format, with ink saving white backgrounds;
And a sewing basket clip art illustration in png and jpg formats.
