Here are two vintage illustrations of familiar garden flowers. The first is a printable illustration of an iris. The illustration features a beautiful iris flower that has yellow top petals with white and magenta varigated bottom petals. A single leaf is in the background, directly behind the iris. The title “Iris” appears below the flower. The illustration is on a white background.
The second is a printable vintage illustration of a crimson petunia. The illustration features two crimson red colored petunias in full bloom, attached to a sprig of green leaves. The title “Crimson Petunia” appears below the flower. The illustration is on a white background.
I scanned the original images from a book titled Familiar Garden Flowers, circa 1897, by F. Edward Hulme.
New in my Etsy shop are two printable sets of floral themed vintage flashcards.
The list of flowers included in the first set of flashcards is: rose, marigold, carnation, poppy, tulip, begonia, hollyhock, gardenia, peony, foxglove, crocus, violet, buttercup and petunia.
The list of words included in the second set of flashcards is: daisy, dahlia, orchid, lavender, pansy, delphinium, lilac, zinnia, morning glory, iris, azalea, periwinkle, hydrangea, and bluebell.

Hi and I loved your post and all posts. These flowers and cards, remind me of sets of coloring cards of flowers and birds and other items my Aunt in Hinsdale, Illinois sent me as a young girl there. Maybe you can consider making coloring books or coloring cards in your shop. God Bless your work , and inspiration of the beauty of Life.
Lots of Love, Merrilyn ( Merri) McElderry in Northfield, Minnesota
