The following vintage catalog page features high quality sewing notions. Some of the items included on the page are: safety pins, stick pins, dress hooks, crochet hooks, dress fasteners, a needle threader, snap fasteners, hooks and eyes, a tracing wheel, mending tissue, a pincushion, tape measure, a thimble, needle books and a strawberry emery. A description and the price are included with each item.
For 4 cents (the lowest priced items on the page) you could purchase one of the following sets of items: a set of twelve No. 1 safety pins, a set of Hughes flat hooks and eyes, or a set of dress fasteners. The most expensive item on the page was a high-class leather covered needle book, filled with English gold eye needles. It was priced at $1.50.
You can download the high resolution version HERE.
I scanned the original page of sewing notions from the 1918 Sears, Roebuck & Co. catalog. The catalog is not identified as being a fall and winter catalog; however, it includes warm winter clothing so I assume it is the fall and winter issue.
