This printable vintage book plate includes illustrations of beautiful reddish, orange and yellow colored wood and scarlet tiger moths.
The description on the page is:

The larva and pupa of the scarlet tiger moth is also illustrated on the flowering white dead nettle botanical plant.
I scanned this illustration of wood and scarlet tiger moths from a book titled, “Butterflies and Moths of the Countryside” by Frederick Edward Hulme. The book was published in 1903.
These pages are from the same book; however, the type of paper used for the book plates is a different type of paper (thicker and textured) from the text pages. The illustrated pages have maintained their bright color while the text pages have naturally aged to a yellow color.
New in my Etsy shop this week is a printable set of book pages featuring text from the 1903 book “Butterflies and Moths of the Countryside”, by Frederick Edward Hulme.
I have also added a printable set of grungy butterflies and moths ATC cards to my shop.
I have added the following two new digital stamp/transfer images to my Etsy shop this week as well.
1. Apple Tree
2. Camp fires. This digital stamp/transfer image illustrates how camp fires should be built at night and for cooking.
Preview images are linked to my Etsy shop.
