Here are two lovely vintage Easter postcards.
The first postcard features an illustration of a cobblestone walk leading to the front entrance of a house. Both sides of the walk are lined with beautiful flowers in full bloom. One small tree, in full bloom of pink blossoms, is also on each side of the walk. Pretty purple flowers frame the front entrance of the house. The greeting on the postcard is:
Springtime flowers
are here to say
I am wishing you today;
A Very Joyful Easter
The second of the vintage Easter postcards features an illustration of white and pink roses and a small scenic view over a white cross outlined in mauve colored lines. The illustration is on a background of white and light blue. The message on the postcard is: Easter Joys. It is the scan of a Stecher postcard.
New in my Etsy shop this week is a set of printable, shabby and aged, vintage school reader book pages. I scanned the pages for this set from McGuffey’s Eclectic Spelling Book, 1896, a vintage school book recently added to my collection.
