This wonderful vintage engraving features two polar bears at the Arctic. One of the bears is walking on the ice toward the water while a second bear, in the background, has just been for a swim and is coming out of the water onto the ice. Several ice caps frame the scene and many birds are flying overhead. The image is from Little Folks Natural History that was published by McLoughlin Bros in 1902.
