Here are two beautiful French vintage seed labels for carnations.
The first label includes an illustration of four carnations, each a different color. The description on the label is Oillet de Fleuristes Double, nain, hatif, varie.
The second label features a single white carnation. The description on the label is Oillet Double Blanc.
This type of vintage seed label would have been pasted on a seed packet or jar of seeds for retail sale.
