Here are three styles of antique shaving mug and brush sets.
The first style, No. 30, was available for a cost of $2.00 for the quadruple plate gold lined mug and $1.50 for the brush. The advertisement is from the Koch & Co. Spring and Summer 1898 Fashion Catalogue.
The second style, No. 117, was available for a cost of $2.25 for the complete shaving mug and brush set. The mug was embossed silver plate and gold lined.
The third style, No. 125, was available for a cost of $2.48 for the complete shaving mug and brush set. The mug was embossed silver plate and gold lined. The advertisements for the second and third styles of shaving mug and brush sets are from the H. O’neill & Co. 1897-98 Fall and Winter Catalogue.
