This adorable storybook engraving, by Oscar Pletsch, features a young Victorian girl standing in a corner with her face hidden. She is playing a game of hide and seek with her friend and it is her turn to “hide”. The girl has her hands clasped behind her back with the arm of her doll clutched in one hand.
