Here is a vintage magazine advertisement for Johnson Handspun clothing. The ad claimed the clothing wore well and washed well and was just the thing for romping children. The ad includes a fun illustration of a boy and girl climbing a rustic country fence. The boy is sitting on the top horizontal rail of the fence and helping the girl by holding her hand as she climbs up the rails. Here is a black and white clip art version of the image from the ad. The ad is from the March 1895 issue of The Delineator magazine.
