Here are catalogue listings for two styles of antique washing machines. The first is a rotary washer named the Perfection Washer. The cost was $6.75 and the ad guaranteed this to be the finest washing machine in the world.

The second washer is a Peerless Washer. The cost was $3.95 for the Peerless Washer and the ad claimed it was positively the finest washing machine in the country at the price.
