Here is a beautiful vintage illustration of a Rest Harrow with pretty pink flowers. The scientific name for this lovely plant is Ononis spinosa. The illustration is from a recent addition to my collection, a book titled Wayside and Woodland Blossoms by Edward Step, F.L.S., 1909.
