Here is a beautiful vintage illustration of a light pink dog rose blossom and dark pink rosebud. The scientific name for this lovely flower is Rosa canina. The illustration is from a recent addition to my collection, a book titled Wayside and Woodland Blossoms by Edward Step, F.L.S., 1909.
