Here is an adorable vintage clip art illustration of a young Victorian girl teaching her cat Tabby, and the kittens, how to play Cat’s Cradle. One kitten is fast asleep but the mother cat and the kittens that are awake appear to be amused by the lesson.
The engraving is from the October 1885 issue of St. Nicholas magazine.
