Here is a vintage book plate titled Boats of Various Climes. The page includes illustrations of: a Chinese Junk, Indian Canoe, Dutch Fishing-Boat, Esquimaux Kayak, Dory, Modern Yacht, Catamaran, English Fishing-Boat, Motor Boat, Haida Indian Canoe, Thames Range, Venetian Gondola, and a Mediterranean Felucca. The art is by F. E. Wright. The page is from a dictionary in my collection that was published in 1922.
