Here is a wonderful vintage image of Lemaire opera glasses from The Wanamaker Stores 1903-4 Holiday Catalogue. Finished in morocco and black mountings the opera glasses cost from $4.00 to $5.50 but finished in pearl and gold plate they cost from $8.25 to $24.00.
