Here is a wonderful old image of a rooster, two chickens and four chicks in a barnyard at the farm. The chickens are eating from a wooden feeding box, the rooster is posed proud in the background and the little chicks are standing around so cute in the foreground. This image is from a children’s book titled Visit to the Farm by Koerner & Hayes, 1896.
