There are several fashion accessories illustrated on this beautifully aged Victorian fashion plate. I purchased three of these plates a couple years ago (this is the first to be added to my blog). Two of them were from issues of Le Moniteur de la Mode published in 1850 and one from 1851 but I didn’t make note of the specific year of each plate and this is as close as I’m able to narrow down the date.
