Linda Duke Introduces Spellbinders’ New Die ~ Romantic Rectangles

January 21, 2012 5 Comments

Linda Duke is on the design team of Spellbinders Paper Arts. On January 17, 2012, Linda introduced a new Spellbinders’ die – Romantic Rectangles. Linda used my Harrison Fisher image of The Bride in her design and her finished product is romantic, elegant and so beautiful that it takes my breath away!

Click on image to go to Linda’s Works of the Heart blog. Linda includes a step-by-step instructional video to show how she made this card. I’m not a cardmaker and I thought those gorgeous flowers were purchased “as is” but I was surprised and impressed to learn than even the flowers are handmade! Linda’s video shows how she does it.

I was excited to share Linda’s design with my daughter Christine, who is an avid and talented cardmaker. Linda’s design was instant “love” for Christine and it doesn’t surprise me that she wants the new nestables “really badly”.

Thank you kindly for sharing with us Linda. I am honored to have the opportunity to feature your design on my blog!

The Bride by Harrison Fisher is available in my Etsy shop.harrison fisher, the brideImage is linked.

Thank you Fran. 🙂 I hope you have fun working with the image and if you would like to share what you create with it, I would love to see!

This is a beautiful card. She has done your image proud. I still have to watch the video. I have bookmarked it to look at later.

    Hello 🙂
How can I purchase this card or one like it?
I made a bridal handkerchief for my future daughter in law with this image that I bought on Etsy. I would love to give her this matching card too.
    Thanks
    Anne

    Hi Anne,

To my knowledge, the card Linda created, incorporating the bridal image I sell in my Etsy shop, was a design to introduce a new Spellbinders product. As far as I know, the card Linda created isn’t for sale.
