My New Work Environment

September 25, 2011 Leave a Comment

On Tuesday, September 20th, I went to work as usual. But “as usual” has changed since our department has recently moved buildings. Here it is – my new work environment, from the ground up. Parts of the new building are still under construction. This is what the front entrance looked like when I arrived to work on Tuesday morning:

This is the new building I now work in:

And here is my own little cubicle in the building (before I started moving in): One of the first things I did was move my monitor and keyboard because it doesn’t make sense to have it on the long counter since we need space to work with papers. My new cubicle is quite a bit smaller than my last so I’ve decluttered but I still seem to have too much work “stuff”. This is my what my moving mess looks like:

I know that sometimes change is good but I don’t like it. I’ll adapt, as I always do, but for now, I’m feeling…whatever the opposite of “yay” is. 🙂
