Here are vintage clip art illustrations of a lovely set of Victorian furniture. This set was made of boldly carved black walnut; the fabric was crimson and gold damask. The couch is shaped like two chairs fastened together with a center partition design, including a small wooden table at the center back. 

These engravings are from The Art Journal Illustrated Catalogue, published for the proprietors, by George Virtue in London, 1851. Here is the matching chair.
