This image of dogs includes: a Collie, an Old English Sheep-Dog and a Smooth Collie. I’ve owned this book, The Book of Dogs, 1919, for quite a while but this is the first image I’ve scanned from it. I hoped to find a dog similar in looks to our beloved dog, Little Bear, who is a cross between a Rottweiler, Collie and Blue Healer. This is the closest I could get, which isn’t very close at all, really. There are no rotties in the book.
