Here are six random pages from an antique Alice in Wonderland book. Two of the pages include illustrations. They are: a giant Alice watching the white rabbit stomp off and Alice trying to play croquet with a flamingo and hedgehog.
Here are black and white clip art versions of the illustrations of Alice watching the rabbit march off and Alice holding a flamingo.
I scanned the original book pages from Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, illustrated by John Tenniel. The book was published in 1885 and is a new addition to my collection.

I have an “ALICE IN WONDERLAND” book by Lewis Carroll with 42 illustrations by John Tenniel, published by Hurst and Company. I didn’t see the cover of the book that I have in the collection at this site. The one I have is 7.5” x 5”, dark tan, with what looks like an ornate black keyhole that takes up the entire front of the book. The illustrations look the same as yours, but are not as clean. The book seems very old. It was in my grandmothers attic. (I’m 67) I cannot find a date that it was printed. It is worn on the outside, but does not have any scribbling or writing on the inside. I was just wondering if you’ve seen this book and if it has any value.
Thank You, Penny
