Happy birthday wishes going out to my daughter Christine today! Not only is Christine my daughter but she is also my friend. A birthday in the family has turned my focus to my collection of vintage greeting cards and I’ve chosen a couple to share with you.
Here are two vintage birthday cards for girls. The first card features an illustration of a lovely Victorian lady in a pretty pink dress with a full, ruffled skirt. She is holding a parasol and a basket of flowers.
The second card features a young girl, in a blue plaid dress and white pinafore, decorating a birthday cake. Her sweet little kitten is watching from the side of the table.
