Victorian Christmas Postcards

Here are two Victorian Christmas postcards. The first card features an illustration of holly and berries along the left side. To the right of the illustration is a greeting, in a Victorian calligraphy font. It reads, “Many Hearty Good Wishes for A Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year”. The card is signed at the bottom, “Elmer & Effie”.

Here is a second version of the postcard with the signatures removed.

The second of the Victorian Christmas postcards features an illustration of a country winter farm scene within the outline of a leaf. To the left of the country scene is a tree with branches covered in snow. A single sprig with pink blossoms is illustrated above the scene. “Christmas Greetings” in red lettering appears in the upper right-hand corner of the postcard. “The Season’s Greetings warm and true, From all of us to all of you” is a greeting included at the lower right side of the postcard.
