Here are two vintage French seed labels.
The first label includes an illustration of a perfectly ripe green head of cabbage. The label reads: Chou Cabus couer de boeuf gros. An online translation gives the result: Cabbage Cabus large beef heart.
The second vintage French seed label is for cauliflower. It includes an illustration of a ripe head of cauliflower nestled within several green leaves. The label reads: Chou-Fleur Lenormand a Pied Court. An online translation of this label is: Lenormand Short-Food Cauliflower.
These types of vintage French seed labels would have been pasted on a seed packet or jar of seeds for retail sale.

Thank you for the free image of the French seed pack (cabbage), and for the trove of other images in your Etsy shop. I’ve tried printing the seed pack from your website a couple of times, and the colors are not nearly as bright as on my screen…wondering if perhaps I’m not doing it right and not printing from high res version?
