Victorian Girls Winter Fashion

This page features Victorian fashions for girls in the winter of 1900. An illustration on the upper portion of the page features two girls exchanging gifts. The girl on the left is wearing a pretty brown coat and large hat with a red brim and green bow. The girl on the right is wearing a navy blue dress with white pin stripes down the left side, around the neckline and wrists. She is also wearing a large navy blue hat with a white feather that matches her dress. Three ladies in long coats and large hats are skating on a frozen pond in the background behind the girls.

Another illustration on the lower portion of the page features an older girl, wearing a brown dress, seated on a red couch beside a decorated Christmas tree. A younger girl in a light blue dress with a basket over her arm is adding more decorations to the tree. The two girls are framed in a circular shape that has been decorated with branches of holly and berries.

I scanned the original page from the December 1900 issue of The Designer magazine.
