You’re welcome Peggy. I don’t think we see lions and lioness depicted in a sleeping pose too often. Perhaps a sleeping pose invokes a feeling of weakness or helplessness. However, I think that even though this lioness is fast asleep, she still evokes a sense of power. At any moment, she could be alert and immediately back on the prowl.
