Here is a worn vintage book endpaper with a design of flowers and leaves. I scanned the original page from an antique book titled Our Homes and Their Adornments by Almon C. Varney. The book was published in 1882.

I’m so glad I found this post! I am creating a new letterpress version of this paper, from a book from our collection, but we collected the paper before we started writing down titles. We revive vintage designs and make them accessible again, as so many are stuck in books forever unseen. This is an excellent piece of context for us. Thanks so much!
