The illustration on this vintage Christmas postcard is of two Victorian girls setting, or playing with, a cuckoo clock while their mother looks on from the doorway to another room. Since the girls are wearing pretty dresses, perhaps it is still the afternoon or early evening of Christmas Eve and the girls are setting the time ahead, pretending that it is now Christmas Day.
The message on the card is: With Sincerest Wishes for a peaceful, happy Christmas.

I love it! I have been looking for that special image to add to my sister’s Christmas packages this year, and I believe I will use this one. We used to be so in love with the Holidays when we were kids…our mom had 3 Christmas tree’s set up and it always felt so magical…this image captures that magic!! Thanks Julie!
