Here is a beautiful vintage botanical illustration of Woody Nightshade. The plant has red, green and yellow tear-drop shaped berries and leaves in a pastel moss green color.
I scanned the original image from Wild Fruits of the Country Side by F. Edward Hulme, 1907.

I will be back on Monday with another free image for you.

This is a pretty wild vine that grows in our woodsy garden. However, I pull it out, as it is also very poisonous and the berries are so shiny and pretty, I worry they may tempt. But the painting is lovely.

That is very interesting Peggy. Thank you for the additional information.
