Here is a vintage clip art magazine advertisement for Keen Kutter scissors and shears. The ad includes an illustration of spools of thread displayed together with a thimble and a pincushion with pins and needles inserted. One of the needles in the pincushion is threaded. The ad assures the potential customer that Keen Kutter scissors would never hack or mangle the work but would always cut sharp and true.Â
