This vintage book plate includes two beautiful illustrations of sparrows perched on branches. The bird at the top of the page is a Song Sparrow. The bird on the lower half of the page is a Chipping Sparrow.
Here is a black and white clip art version of the page.
I scanned the original page from Birdcraft by Mabel Osgood Wright, 1897. The illustrations are by Louis Agassiz Fuertes.

Beautiful birds! If you ever find a ruby-throated hummingbird I would love to see it. Any hummingbirds would be much appreciated. I looked at your bird gallery – beautiful! Thank you for sharing with us!
These are so pretty… love the line drawings and love all of your birds.
Am I the only one who is not able to click on these to enlarge?
Susan, thank you for letting me know. I’ve fixed the problem and you’ll be able to enlarge these now.
Marilyn, I’m happy to know you like the birds.
KT Fit Kitty, I’ll check the book for a hummingbird image.
Hi Julie,
Thank you for the sparrows. What a lovely way to start the day.
