Here is a shabby vintage storybook page that includes an illustration of a sweet wild rose flower child. The page also includes the following short poem:
WILD ROSE runs round everywhere,
Likes to breathe the nice fresh air;
Even her high-bred connection
Cannot match her pink complexion.
Here is a cleaner version of the wild rose flower child.
The page is from Flower Children, The Little Cousins of The Field and Garden by Elizabeth Gordon. The book was published in 1910.

Oh goodie! I’m crazy for these flower children. If I can catch them all they’d make something adorable.
